A Nice Little MP3Sep 14, 2008

This is a very nice little MP3 player. It does everything but video and once you play with it, it is easy to use. As I always post, the manufacturers for electronics need to spend a little money and provide a manual. The one sheet that comes with the machine is not enough and if you don't have an affinity for electronics, it makes it hard to use. The FM recording feature is especially nice and it holds a good amount of songs and photos. The photos are a bit small but that was not the reason I purchased this. I wanted to have a small unit that I could put in my pocket. The price was right and it is a really good buy for someone unsure if they would really like an I Pod (which is much more difficult to use and not for the feint of heart). I would recommend this especially for someone with little pocket money who can't afford the high I Pod price. It does everything you want and you will like it.

"L'il Monsta" packs a great punchAug 24, 2010
By M My little blue friend has kept me company for a few years now and is still the easiest way to play my audio - with benefits. After one too many i-things, I wanted something smaller but that still had a screen, but most importantly, I wanted to be able to simply drag my selections over into my drive without complicated synchronization procedures. This player acts just like any flash drive - I've used it to store other documents in a pinch - and plays through the longest road trips with no problem. It's tough, too - it's been accidentally dropped and immersed in water with no ill effects. The only criticism I have is that the screen menus could have had higher contrast, or a broader angle of viewing. For my music and audiobooks, this little guy sticks with me through workouts and everything else and no phone or i-thing could ever take its place.

By FL. I bought one black, one pink, and one blue. The black I had no problem with. The down arrow on the pink didn't work, and the blue wouldn't turn off. Neither of the colored models would read the 4 gig SD cards I was using. I returned them and ordered two more black models; both worked great. Maybe the colored units will only read a smaller card such as a 2 gig. If that is the case, maybe the product description should say so. That is my only complaint. Over all the black models seem to be a very good buy. I am also happy with Amazon for their customer service and the handling of my return as well as the promptness of Blue Proton on the second order. Definitely would recommend (the black model...lol).

By Jon M. Bosson Very easy to use. I use one for music and one for audio books. They both perform the job exceptionally.

Nice MP3 if you like mono and not stereo...Oct 26, 2009
By Paul Adkins I've had two of these now. The first one worked fine for 2-3 weeks, then the headphone jack went berserk and only the left headphone would work. It was so cheap, I just bought another one. This time it lasted about 7 months. The same thing happened with the headphone jack. If I jiggle the headphone plug inside the jack, it'll work eventually but if you move it slightly, it'll stop working again. So irritating. I will be purchasing another type of portable mp3 player for the gym.
