Holy Crap this card is FAST!Aug 27, 2008
By Nemeo I ordered this micro SDHC card for a Nokia E71 phone. I don't have the phone yet, but I decided to try it as an 'SSD' (solid-state disk) on my Windows XP laptop (Lenovo T61).
Suffice it to say, this is the fastest SDHC card I have ever tested! I've seen other cards that are a bit faster, but I was especially not expecting this tiny thumbnail of a micro-SDHC card to be this fast. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this card if looking for an 8GB micro SDHC card.
Test Setup: -Tested with provided USB adapter (it's so cute and tiny!) -Tested with Delkin Expresscard/34 memory card reader (rated at 15MB/sec)... although Expresscard slots have a LOT higher theoretical speed
Speed Results: * HD Tach (3.0.4), 19-20 MB/sec * results were the same for USB or Expresscard adapter
In short, I am VERY happy this purchase. There are a few slightly cheaper micro SDHC cards, but this blew me away! I can't wait to see how it works in my phone.
I'm also 'testing' it as a secondary-drive in the laptop, running from the Expresscard/34 adapter. I've loaded some basic apps, to help speed up my boot times a bit (no data/results yet). The only 'primary' app I've loaded to the card is Firefox 3.0.1, and it runs decently fast. I think the internal SATA drive is a bit faster... plus the SATA drive has a buffer, so it can cache data, where the microSDHC card doesn't really do that. But since the memory card has ~1.0-1.6 ms access times, it speeds some random-read performance.

For transfer speed (class 6)and capacity, this memory card from a major manufacturer stands out. Not sure what 'Mobile Ultra' means other than marketing for the cell phone crowd, but it worked on me - for my T-Mobile G1 phone. The card slid right in, and registered 7,782 MB in total space available. Excellent. I like the itty-bitty USB reader too; it comes with a little 3 inch long lanyard with a jewelry clasp and a tiny key ring. The reader is the width of one of my fingernails and 1 inch long. At 8 GB you can get aprox. 2,000 MP3 songs, or over 25,000 2 MP photos, or over 40 hours of MPEG 4 video on this card, according to the packaging print from SanDisk. The warranty is 2 years for the reader, and 10 years for the card. Again, excellent. It came by way of the U.S.P.S., in a padded shipping envelope with no damage. The manufacturer's packaging is solid as well. Had it in the phone a month or so with no problems. All's well. UPDATE: Two years next month and still performs well.

SanDisk 8G SDHC Card - Great Product & PriceMay 20, 2009
By SweetP I was having problems synching my LG Dare with my PC to download mucic, so I got the bright idea to load music on to an SD card and insert in to my phone. This has worked great. The best part of buying this card is that it came with a USB adapter, so besides listening to music on my phone, I can insert the SD card in to the USB adapter and put in the USB port on my PC or any applicable system and voila I have music!!! Only con - I wish it was a bright color, so I can find it easier.
This product is well worth the price just under $25.

Very Happy with my purchaseDec 17, 2008
By Thirsty916 I had purchased this product a month ago and it definately works as stated. A prior reviewer stated that it came with a Class 4 card. That I believe to be the wrong item sent. Mine does say Class 6. The speed is the best I have seen. The reader I love just as much. Windows found right away and within 5 seconds, the card and reader was loaded. I was worried that the reader was made of metal and would chip off the black paint after a few uses. It is in fact made of plastic and feel this was the best choice. does not feel cheap in any way. So compact and portable. well worth the money.

By Moonchas I bought this to use in my Samsung Instinct and so far it's doing an excellent job. I have loads of music and pictures on it already and still have plenty of room left.
