I purchased this camera for my 8-year-old son after his other camera broke. It is much better than the other one. It is made better and it has more features. It has a flash and records sound, which some of the other kids quality cameras don't. It's also easy to use. I would recommend it.

I purchased this for my 11 year old son after several other brands ending up breaking. He loves it! Obviously, the video quality isn't super, it's only 1.3mp, but it works great for what he wants to do with it: make crazy videos with his friends and siblings. I'd definitely suggest getting some rechargable batteries and at least a 512 SD card.

I bought this for my 8yr old for christmas and he loves it. The only thing I would suggest is a bigger memory card since the one that it comes with is very generic and only lasts for 2-3 seconds. My son will not put the camara down. I got it on sale for 50.00 at target too.

I bought for my 10 year old Christmas and he has left it in the yard, drop it and made several videos. He loves it great for a child with dreams of UTube.
