5Fun for everyone!Dec 27, 2007
By Eve "moon2301"
My sister-in-law gave this to my daughter for Christmas, but she and I had the most fun with it. The songs are recognizable (Celebration, Forever Your Girl, Shout, I Think We're Alone Now, and 15 more) and the steps are challenging. We had fun trying to top each others' scores. The foot sensors might be more suited for kids (we both sometimes missed the back), so I'm researching one I can get myself for exercise. Everyone, from the littlest kids to grandma, wanted a turn and it was a lot of fun. Excellent product!

5Simple, fun and worth itApr 13, 2008
By R. Sakala
Got this for my daughter. It has built in songs to dance to, some slow and some fast. Then you can pick from 2 steps songs to 4 step songs. Lots of fun, even for Dad! I have a TV with front hook ups, which is good b/c the cord is about 10 feet long and might be a hassle for those of you with rear connections. Even though it says its for age 4 and up, I don't see any problem with older kids. They suggest using bare feet, but we like wearing socks, b/c bare feet seem to stick to the surface. The memory game it has included is pretty hard; it advances whether you get it sequence right or not. Don't see us playing that much. Other than that, a nice fun game that gets us all moving off the couch!

5This dance pad is great!Jan 04, 2008

We don't have any game systems so bought this plug-and-play for our 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son for Christmas. It has been so much fun, for the whole family! They can start at 2 step to get used to it, then move up to 3 and 4 step. The songs are upbeat and fun and there are 20 to choose from. The batteries last about 6 hours (we are on our third set of batteries already, which shows how much we like it). Overall, this dance game has been fantastic-- a great way for the kids to burn off energy during the winter months. Definitely worth getting.

4A fun solid Dance Dance Revolution but lacks the polish of the console gamesJan 13, 2009
By Jeremy L. Moody
Although it does not have the same level of quality as the Dance Dance Revolution games designed for consoles such as XBox360 or Wii etc., it is a great alternative for those without a video game system. I got this for my mom who wanted it as a way to exercise, and we had a lot of fun with it. The sound is not of the best quality, and the dance pad is a bit small for adults, but it is still a lot of fun and a great introduction to the game.

5a minor change to softwareAug 25, 2009
By I. Hughes
The product is excellent with one minor flaw. When you miss the arrows, points are deducted so if your child is young they can end up with a score of zero. This in itself is not encouraging and then the display states "failed", whereas a low points score plus a statement such as "try again" etc... is much more likely to keep all kids happy.
