5The touch screen makes all the differenceSep 14, 2008
By Evgeni Stavinov "OutputLogic.com"
Bought this as a gift for my mom so that she wouldn't need to print digital pics anymore.
The touch screen makes all the difference. That's what differentiates this digital frame from most others with clunky buttons,hard-to-navigate menus, and remote controls.

3only works for close-ups due to lack of definition/pixelsOct 03, 2008
By D. Hoffman
This display does a pretty nice job with close-ups of one or two faces, but pictures with three or four people in a group don't show up well, as the faces become pixelated -- the facial features are broken up because there are not enough pixels in a square inch to define those small features accurately. The faces in such pictures are distorted, as for example nostrils are magnified, lips are squared-off, etc. Close-ups look much better as there are a lot more pixels dedicated to represent each feature, allowing the natural shape of the facial features to emerge.

5Excellent Purchase!Aug 07, 2008
By Charles Dickens "canary451"
I have had this digital frame for almost a week, and I am extremely pleased with the way it works. It is exactly what I wanted. I am no photographer; I have a lot of pictures on my computer, and I wanted to be able to copy them to a memory key, and then be able to view them on the frame. It all works seamlessly and with great ease. The touch commands take but a few minutes to figure out. For me, it seemed easy to separate pictures on different memory keys whether they are in portrait on landscape mode. The frame is right here on my desk; it is pretty small to have it at any great distance, and I could not imagine hanging it on the wall. It is not the faciest, and perhaps at some time in the future I might want something better. I highly recommend it, and hope that you will be as pleased with it as I am.

3Some good points and bad pointsJun 18, 2008
By S. Lowther
I bought this frame as a mother's day gift because my mom was always talking about wanting to have a digital picture frame on her desk. Since it is for her desk the size is great. Even though it is plastic, the frame itself looks better than most since it doesn't have the bulky plastic frame like so many others. Quality wise the pictures are just ok - nothing stunning, but they look decent. I also like the touch border concept, which was easy to navigate. Now on to the really bad part. Perhaps it was just the frame we got but on the second power up no pictures would display. It just wouldn't recognize the SD card for some reason. When we would take out the SD card and put it back in we would get a purple screen of death and the whole thing would just freeze. This went on and on and on until eventually, after numerous times of taking out the card and putting it back in, it decided to start working again. This was the last time I saw the frame since it is now home with my mom, but from what I saw I was very disappointed. Perhaps given some more time Kodak will improve this product and it will be great, but right now it needs some more work.

5Great product - great valueJun 26, 2008
By JD in Rochester
I bought this Kodak digital frame for my in-laws. It performed flawlessly and is so easy to use even the technically challenged can figure it out. I personally own an "off-brand" frame and was impressed with the outstanding picture quality and extra features of this Kodak product. I would buy another, and I may - for myself!
