I bought this set of subs for an MTX Thunderform box that I have for an 08 Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab. The box already came loaded with 2 MTX T4510-08's. Those subs I found to be lacking all around, and decided to upgrade. Realizing that I had to use a slim sub, I wanted to get the biggest bang for the buck. MTX's website has a great tool that lets you compare their subs against some of their top competitors. I compared MTX's Slim sub to this amazing Kicker, and a Rockford Fosgate and a few others. Not only was this sub cheaper, but it outperformed all the others on paper. Finding this sub was the hard part, but Amazon had them listed, and I trust this site, so I went ahead and made the purchase. I'm so glad I did. These sub's made my whole system come alive. I could not believe the thump I felt in my chest after installing these subs. The sound quality is by far better than the subs that come already installed. If your considering these subs, get them. I believe these subs are 07 model year, that's why they are so cheap, but they are brand new, and will out perform most subs made at present time.

An amazing sub for small spaces. My neighborghs hear me coming from one block away. Give the punch you need to your music. I power it with a mono amplifier (kenwood kac 8104d) and both are the perfect marriage. I am about to give them the juice from a Boss capacitor.

They aren't earth shattering but if you want to save space and save some cash these are okay. If you want something that will really save space and move some air, try the JL Audio shallowmount. Prepare to dig deep it those pockets though.

I ust got the Kicker CompVT 07CVT104 10-Inch 250mm 4-Ohm SVC Subwoofer and I love them. They sound good in a slim box under my back seat.

I put one of these in an MTX box under the rear seat in my GMC Sierra, and fed it with an old Profile amp with a cap, and, let me tell you, it hits hard for being in such a tiny box! Great product!
