Good for size and priceSep 08, 2009
By Baron Because of limited budget and space allowances I thought this would be a decent compromise for my Jeep Cherokee. It turns out I was pleasantly suprised at its ease of hook up and ease of controls. I mounted it to the back of the back seat so it only takes up a little luggage space, whether the seats are up or down.
With its all in one amp and woofers, it is a no hassle space saver, that delivers big sound without sacrifice big space. It has great punch and a mellow low that can be increased and decreased at the touch of the dial. Any one looking for a true value and needs to save space, this could be your sub woofer.

AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!Nov 11, 2009
By Brian Bordeaux First let me say that I almost never review products. However I was so pleased with this unit I felt it necessary to write something. Prior to installing this unit I had gone thru TWO Boss Audio 8" powered subs in about 3 days. The first one lasted about 2 minutes and went into protect mode and that was it. I though, ok maybe I just got a bad unit, so I sent it back and got my second one a couple days later. (Amazon service was great). I quickly wired up the second unit and it was working fine for about 2 days, then it just quit. Strike two, there was no way I was going to buy ANYTHING with the name BOSS Audio on it again. After a little searching I found this unit. I have a 2009 Ford F150 super cab and was just looking for something to give me a little extra low end thump and didn't have a lot of room to play with.(it fit perfect under the rear seat) I'm using the factory radio cuz it has Sirius, but I put a pair of Boston Acoustic speakers in front and it made a HUGE difference. Yet it was still missing that low end thump that I was used to from having a factory sub in my prior truck. As others have said, this will not blow your windows out, but in my opinion it does a great job. My friends couldn't believe the difference in sound with this unit hooked up. I especially LOVE the remote control. I listen to mostly Classic Rock from the late 60's and early heavy metal like Black Sabbath. The phase control on the remote is AWESOME. Depending on the song, the phase needs to be adjusted quite a bit sometimes. If you have a sub without a remote you would always be pulling over to adjust the phase level because one setting is not going to be optimal for all songs. I payed about $120 for this unit and it is worth every penny. Also, it was easy to wire and comes with a good quality wiring kit. My friend is going to go buy 2 for his car he liked mine so much.

Invisible BassSep 07, 2009

These speakers fit great in my 07 Frontier. I bought 2, one for under the passenger and driver seat. I wired the remotes into my center console so there is no visible trace of them. Wiring was pretty simple. The only thing I had to buy other than the speakers was the 10 gauge power cord to run from the battery, and since I was hooking up 2 speakers to 1 sub output I needed to get a couple RCA splitters. When listening to metal and hardcore you can hear/feel every hit of the drum. Ive also tested them with some drum and bass and it sounds much cleaner than 10 or 12 inch subs. I recommend having some good tweeters and mids with crossovers to balance everything out. Very satisfied.

Plenty of power for pickup trucksJun 01, 2009
By S. Asmus The KSC-SW10 was exactly what I was looking for in a sub: compact, low profile, and powerful enough to fill the low end in my Chevy Colorado. The speaker/amp combo fit well under the passenger side rear seat, and installation was a cinch. I didn't need an installation kit, but I did end up purchasing a few wire lugs for the ground and power connections. The adjustable crossover on the wired remote is a nice touch for those of us who listen to a variety of genres. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Kenwood KSC-SW10 great add-onMay 10, 2009

I mounted this in my 2004 Tacoma Double Cab. No room for serious bass without removing rear seat but I wasn't wanting ground shaking bass. This little jewel mounted under the front passenger seat well. Kenwood includes miles of wiring with this all nicely strapped together. I cut off more than half for my needs. Still in the testing time frame, trying different settings on the controller, with playing wide range of music,(rap, pop, rock, heavy rock, jazz and acoustic). I listen mostly to rock but looking for the 'set it and forget it' tuning on the controller. I am very happy and a little surprised on this unit. It hit some lows I didn't expect on some NIN songs.
