Just as my Lexus has a smoother ride than my Miata, they aren't intended for the same use. I don't use my sound cancelling headset while jogging. The 'Marshmallows' leave in just enough sound, so I won't get squashed by an ambulance or I can tell if I'm being spoken to. Plus, they are by far the most comfortable set of inserts I've ever had. I listen to a wide variety of music from Beethoven to blues, rock and most things in between, and think the sound is great. After owning, and being displeased with, four different brands, some costing four times as much, I just purchased my second set of JVC MARSHMALLOWS. I love 'em!

This is my second pair of these earphones and I love them!!! I use one for travel and leave one at home. They fit into the ear canal perfectly!! For those of us with smaller ears who can't wear the earbud type of earphones, these are pefect and the sound quality is excellent. I would highly recommend these earphones.

I am very very happy with this purchase, should I be in need of a similar item any time in the future, I would definately buy this item again. The sound is great, and they are very comfortable, not like the traditional earbuds that don't fit in your ears and fall out when you get sweaty while working out. These earphones stay in place nicely.

We own three sets of these JVC Marshmallow Headphones (for me and my two teens) and they are exactly what I was looking for to replace the earbuds that came with my iPods. Unlike the the standard iTouch earbuds, these fit directly into the ear canal so they stay in place if fitted correctly. Here are my observations:
+ Great Sound Quality - While not a serious audiophile, to my ears these produce a rich sound at all ranges.
+ Comfortable - The package contains two sizes of memory foam ear pieces, small (attached) and large. This was important to me because my left ear canal is larger than my right and I was able to get a get a good fit by swapping out the preinstalled left piece.
+ Noise Blocking - Outside noise\sounds are almost completely blocked out.
+ Adjustable Slide - Can be tightened up for use while exercising by sliding up the "stop", this significantly reduces the flopping of the cords.
For best fit, be sure to follow the directions and roll the memory foam pieces between your fingers before putting them in your ears. This will allow them to expand in your ear canal, making a very secure and tight seal.
They also come in a lot of different colors, which is good if you have other headphone users in the house (my set is black, my daughter has green and my son has silver).
