 Sweet Sound at an even Sweeter Price!Sep 19, 2011

I was blown away by the price as HiFonics is usually big money, the parent company Maxxsonics also makes: Maxxsonics | Hifonics | Autotek | Crunch | MB Quart Entertainment, and this model is still featured on their website at about 180.00 dollars. If you haven't heard of these brands then you haven't visited a high end audio store... Stay out of the electronic chain stores, if they are selling washer and dryers next to car stereos, just leave!
Now on to the good stuff... Sound and quality! They sound phenomenal! When I put them in boxes they actually have crystal clear highs and nice punchy bass. Understand that you aren't going to get deep bass out of a 6x9 but you do get that fast punchy bass and with a good quality small amp you will be blown away!
I think you will be hard pressed to find a better deal! These are incredibly well built and feature bigger heavier magnets than most 12 inch subs! Don't waste your time hooking up the led emblems, not worth the time or the wire! just make sure you try them out with a 9 volt battery, you may be into blue led lit tweeters... Also since the power connections are looking just like the speaker connections, make sure you use the correct ones! Lastly, throw out the wire they supply and solder on some quality wire that is at least 16 gauge. I cant believe this company would even bother supplying wire let alone the cheap 18 or 22 gauge wire they included with these! Factory wire on the car would work better! Anyway even with the cheap wire it is still a five star item!

Well worth the money. These can handle every bit of power they say they can. I have a Dodge Caravan and these fill it with sound like you wouldn't believe, my seats even vibrate with bass ALMOST as if I had like a 10 inch sub or something in the back. I can't wait to match them up with some HiFonics subs. I have never been disappointed with this brand.

I like this product even with a lack of power from my head unit it still gives off a nice even sound. The tweeters although a bit snappy for my likeing still reproduce the sound nice and ultimatly fairly smooth. I would purchase them again.

Wish I knew what they sounded like. Low-profile they're not. Too big. I'm not sure where these are suppose to go (trunk??). But it was false advertising as far I can see.
