Good valueMar 02, 2012
By ItsOK I read reviews on these somewhere else where they were described as hollow or mushy, not as good as factory Ford speakers. At first install, i would have said the same thing, but given the profound hollow sound, I knew something was wrong. One of the two speakers was out of phase with the other and the front speakers. Swapped wires, and they sound a lot better than factory Ford speakers. The price was worth it. Note: The speaker actually was reversed from the factory. But the +/- swap was easy enough. and I didn't let it bother me.
Perfect Quality for the priceAug 01, 2011
By BIohazard411 These really are great speakers for the price. Just make sure they are tightened down, and check once in a while that they're still tight, otherwise they will vibrate like they're ripped. But these truly are awesome. the lights inside are pretty cool too.
Can't beat the price.Sep 29, 2010
By Stephen J Nelson The Speakers at 44 a set play very well i have them running on head unit power not to sure they could handle to much more then that. They really are quit good the treble leaves something to be desired but they are quite cheap and I'm never happy with anything but unlike audiobahn stuff which ive had in budget stereos they just break. These are slightly more expensive but I'm not shy with the volume and they take the abuse if i felt like spending more money i would have went pioneer but the car being a 98 villager that i have no intentions of keeping this was perfect for a couple of months but no reason these won't last it's been over a month of abuse and still rocking. BTW i have the new JVC KW-XR610 double din couple with these front and rear and what a world of difference over stock and i only spent around 230 for everything. i recently came across a 10" audiobahn tube sub i had sitting around and forgot about fits between the seats and doesn't hit to bad its almost a shame they don't make them anymore. Anyways i could go on but i hope that this helps u make up your mind.
They're awesome!Apr 15, 2010

Exactly what I was looking for. I've had them for about a year now and they still sound amazing. I have them run thru a 300watt amp, getting 50w a piece @ 4 ohms. They will go high or low, so low it sounds like a small sub, and I hear they will last forever if you keep them amped right. Highly recommended, best price right here.

decent speakersFeb 17, 2010
By sportlivin these are decent, but the tweeters are not nearly strong enough. first of all, they arent very loud or crisp, and they blow out at 40rms easily. i fried both my fronts... and instead of replacing with the same ones, i bought a pair of polk momo's 2-way coaxials. after i tried the polks, i unhooked the two working hifonics speakers in the back. the polks absolutely, completely, in a grand fashion, blow the hifonics speakers out of the water. not only can you pump 60wRMS and more into the polk's, the tweeters in the polks are just incredible for the price. i have damn near TRIED to blow out the tweets, they just get louder. needless to say, the hifonics are worth about twenty bukks, so if you get them for that then theyre fine.
honestly, i was worried when i noticed these hifonics have "led lights" in them... and my worries were spot on. i think any speaker that puts out light leaves a little left to be desired in its audio output.
