So when it came time to power my Alpine Type -R 15, I knew I needed lots of power but didn't want to spend too much money. I did my reading and Hifonics was recommended countless times. I ordered the BXI1610d and was EXTREMELY happy. Very clean sound and barely got warm after playing all damn day. I couldn't believe it. My buddy has a 1000$ Kicker amp and they gave him a PLASTIC bass knob. Hifonics gives you a nice metal one. For the price and in general. Hifonics amps are the way to go.

I agree it's DEFINITELY more than worth it!
I must say this amp does not only LOOK incredible at night, it definitely wont let you down on power either.
IT POUNDS AT NIGHT TOO :DD . Ok I don't reccomend doing that in town though lol.
Stays super cool even when I crank it up. It stays very cool if not cold. The hottest I have got it was kinda not really that warm after a good pounding of a few hours.
The only con i would say is that when you crank it way up all of your car will kinda... dims a little bit every time your bass hit's. Also the sound stays clean. I am using a set of 2 P3's from Rockford Fosgate year 2011. It's always clean never hits off even with bad reception on the radio if your using it.
Overall. Once again save money buy this amp.

I went ahead and bought this amp after reading the reviews. All I have to say is WOW! So glad i got this amp. I have it powering 2 12 kicker Cvr's and it slaps tough. Not only are they loud but the quality is great too. Very easy to install as well. If you want a good amp for not much money this is by far the amp to get.

I never purchased out side of Kicker,MMATS,ORION,Rockford Fosgate & Memphis in the car audio game . Ill say this much this amp is no joke ! I thought i paid to much i found out i got a diamond . I dont play the name brand games im just picky when it comes to the car audio game . Name brands have there cheap stuff riding behind there logos trust me. I seen a Hifonics D class Brutus in action and said its my turn to try one. I can smell the speakers cooking but never the amp its always cool to the touch not even tad bit warm thats crazy. I read so many comments on Hifonics RMS is over rated by 15-25% Kicker & the rest fall under the same flag ! I have yet to find a price tag on a item that smashes the bang for buck theory like Hifonics Brutus HAS DONE! Dont hate on the lil amp that killed the bigger badder higher price tag "Name Brand" amp you own lol . The name truly says it all BRUTUS !!!!!

I have this amp powering 2 15in BRUTUS SUBS IN A 2000 intrepid. Their running @ only 2 ohm cause i made the mistake of buying the 2 DVC, insted of the 4DVC in the subs so im only splitting the 2 ohm rated power.. BUT LET ME TELL U WAT, i added a 3.5 fraud cap and my front window flex is about a half inch. so im going to buy one more BXI1610d mono block and see if i can pop the window out.... YOU WANT POWER BUY HIFONICS YOU WANT DEALS SHOP MMXPRESS.. BUY THIS AMP U WONT BE DISAPOINTED... O YA AND MY NEIBORS HATE ME LOLOL
