Unlike some of the earlier reviewers, what I received was the genuine HP cartridge in regular sealed original retail packaging. Whatever problem caused them to get something else appears to have been corrected.

Like most people ordering on internet, I ordered a replacement cartridge when I opened the last cartridge in our home inventory. I usually order HP original from HP or Amazon. But was impressed by the price of the cartridge offered by Vivamart, and thought I will give it a try. I ordered a "Original HP Color LaserJet CB543A Magenta Print Cartridge".
Shipment arrived on time. Packaging seemed good. And I put the cartridge away for use when the time comes for next replacement.
Seven months later, when I opened the packet for the cartridge and as per the instructions in the box, I shook the cartridge before placing it in the printer. When I shook the cartridge I had magenta color powder on the floor. I thought that was usual. I cleaned the cartridge and the print drum with Kleenex tissue and loaded it in the printer. When I ran a test print, all my sheets had magenta streaks. I then thought it was because it was a new cartridge, but after printing about 20 pages, I am still finding that pages have magenta dots and streaks/lines besides now my print drum seems to have dried magenta ink.
I contacted Vivamart for advice, and they told me that it was over 180 days since I placed the order and provide no additional guidance or advice. I have never had this problem with an HP original. You pay extra for an original, but it seems worth every extra penny. Also, you risk ruining your printer besides the inconvenience.

After a negative experience with a "bargain" toner, I have returned to HP. Their products are reliable and they work.
I bought this toner in a trio package. It arrived a little early without any problems.

This printer prints very nicely, and reasonably fast. I have not tried non HP brand cartridges because in the past have had trouble with refurbished/non manufacturer lazer cartridges. I give it four stars because it prints very good, but it is a little pricy. To replace all 4 cartridges (probably have to do it once every year or two), costs about $300.
For any buyer I would recommend buying the HP cartridge. Otherwise you think you will save a few dollars but probably end up dissatisfied with print quality etc.
